Montana Audubon

The Mission of Montana Audubon is to promote appreciation, knowledge, and conservation of native birds, other wildlife, and their habitats. Founded in 1976, Montana Audubon has built effective programs in public policy, education, and bird conservation to serve its members and Montana’s nine community-based Audubon Chapters.

Education and public outreach are important parts of our conservation work; from our Montana Audubon Center in Billings, our annual festival and other activities.

Montana Audubon strives to ensure the long-term survival of our state’s native birds, other wildlife and their habitats. Montana Audubon is a respected and influential voice on complex natural resource issues across the state and works with diverse stakeholders.
