Explore Helena’s History Hikes! The Montana History Foundation is leading a series of guided experiences through Helena’s historical downtown in order to connect residents and visitors with the city’s rich heritage. Take a guided 2 mile hike up Mt. Helena and learn about the colorful characters that helped shape the town. Wander the remnants of Helena’s south side, learning about the communities of miners, bars and brothels that once flourished there.
